Vince Carter has, for several yrs now, been probably the most widely known and respected brands in the leagues of professional basketball. Much of this popularity started back in two thousand with the renowned Vince Carter Slam Dunk Tournament.

Steve Nash rookie card, went from times of trouble to joining a list of those that had made history. He become one of the 11 men that are the only one’s in the history of the NBA to win Most Valuable player, too many times. He weighs less than 200 pounds and is six feet and 3 in . high.

In his first 2 seasons playing with the Phoenix Suns, things were not the best for him. It was in 1996 that he had arrived from Santa Clara and was met with Jason Kidd on the team, who did very well at that time. Within these times he averaged below 10 points a game and a few assists.

In 98, he was exchanged off to Dallas, TX (there are some Mexican jokes about this). When trying to play in Dallas, his game took a turn to all-star status. Sometimes called ‘Rafa,’ Rafael Nadal is a local of Spain who has made a massive impact in the world of tennis.

Born June three, 1986 in Manacor, Mallorca, Rafael Nadal is the child of Sebastian and Ana Maria Nadal.

Standing 6′1′ and weighing 178 lbs, Rafael Nadal turned into a professional tennis player in 2001 after having played since 4 years old. Fans should not let this young age fool them as Rafael Nadal nabbed his first championship at only eight years old.

Under the guidance and teaching of Toni Nadal, his uncle, Rafael Nadal commenced learning to play tennis extraordinarily early in life as is evident from his early championship.

Toni, who remains Rafael’s coach, is a particularly crucial part of this kid’s success.

In 2005, he won 11 titles and also captured recognition as the ‘Most Improved Player’ for 2005 as named by the ATP.

In June 2006, Rafael Nadal won his 2nd Roland Garros crown and also scored his 100th claycourt career victory.

Upon first hearing the news about the Baltimore Orioles and the fact that they traded their closer for two minor league baseball players, I was very surprised to hear the news. It really seemed like they gave him away for nothing in return. I knew nothing of Bell and Johnson, and wasn’t happy about it.

Some more research into the players they received in return changed my mind slightly. Yes, I wish they had actually gotten someone who can help us here and now, instead of next year or whenever Bell and Johnson come up.

Sure, the season’s obviously done in Baltimore. There’s no way in the world they can think about catching the Yankees or the Red Sox, let alone the Rays. Maybe Toronto, but that’d get the team nowhere anyway.

Let’s face it. The Orioles aren’t going to contend for the AL East this season. They might be an improved team from years past, but they’re still last in their division, as nearly every team in the division is somewhat competitive.  Read more...

This Friday Woods admitted he had disappointed his family, friends and fans according to the news sources

Miss James a pornstar who he had allegedly an affair with , real name Veronica Siwik-Daniels, claims she was twice made pregnant by Woods, suffering a miscarriage in 2007 and an abortion two years later.

According to the Telegraph “Miss James, real name Veronica Siwik-Daniels, claims she was twice made pregnant by Woods, suffering a miscarriage in 2007 and an abortion two years later”

“Veronica has made tremendous sacrifices for him,” said her lawyer. “She gave up the porn business at his request and went into hiding when the scandal broke in order to protect him, but to date he has not contacted her to apologise.”

Miss James’s lawyer Gloria Allred said her 32-year-old client, who had cut her hair short and dyed it red, suffered “anguish and distress” following her three year affair with Woods. She said James believed their relationship “would last a lifetime” and went into hiding to avoid being quizzed about their affair.

Out of the entire history of the NBA, only 11 people have won Most Valuable Player awards multiple times. Steve nash rookie card is one of these people. He stands at six-foot-three and weighs less than 200 pounds.

Does the name Savannah Brinson mean anything to you? If not, do not feel bad, it is likely that you are not the only one to be a bit perplexed by the question. She is in fact quite famous, because she is LeBron James girlfriend. He is a Cleveland Cavaliers player.

LeBron James, nicknamed King James by his adoring fans, and Savannah Brinson have been dating for a seemingly long time and are in fact high school sweethearts. They head up the LeBron James Family Foundation together.

The couple has two sons, LeBron James Jr. Who was born in 2004 and Bryce Maximus James who was born in 2007. In July 2009, rumours are ciculating that Savannah is believed to be pregnant with their third child.

While there are usually certain disadvantages to being the girlfriend of such a high profile athlete, there doesn’t seem to be much news in the tabloids about the couple or LeBron James’ girlfriend. They have successfully managed to keep their everyday lives relatively private and often only end up on the glossy pages if they have attended a function or event. The press has had a field day with Dirk Nowitzki girlfriend news. Dirk is trying to keep quiet about the whole matter but the fact of the matter is no one else is feeding into his silence.

Apparently Dirk Nowitzki whom is a Dallas Mavericks star was actually dating a woman by the name of Cristal Taylor. Taylor is honestly nothing special; she is simply an ordinary woman that has been seen around the star from time to time.

Nowitzki was head over heels for 37 year old Taylor. He proposed to her with a $250, 000 ring. The couple was supposed to tie the knot in the near future. However it seems after the star had asked Taylor to marry him a lot of skeltons began to seep from the woman’s closet.

A lot of Dirks friends were pressuring the star to get a background check done on Taylor. She was always extremely secretive about her past and things she had done while she was younger. Dirk decided that a back ground check would not be such a bad idea.  Read more...

Just a year and a half ago, Justine Henin ruled the WTA tennis tour, and many were calling her the best women’s player of our generation. It seemed like no one could stop the diminutive but powerful Henin.

Having sat atop the world rankings for a couple of years, Henin surprised many tennis fans when she retired at the very young age of just 25 years old in 2008. Many wondered why she would call it quits when she was at the top of her game.

While all appeared to be going well on the outside, Henin was mentally exhausted. She was sick of the two decades that she had devoted entirely tennis, and needed to get away from the sport.

This would allow her to focus on both her charity work and her tennis school, as she took pride in training the many talented young kids who came to her school.

There was definitely a void in the world of women’s tennis. The number ones of the world weren’t truly the best in the minds of some fans, because they wondered if Henin would still be at the top of the ranks.
