The Detroit Lions can be called the biggest loser of the season. And with a current record of 0 wins and 12 losses, they are indeed the worst team the NFL has seen in its entire history. The Lions are now tagged with the title of the most losing team of the NFL and they blew every chance they were given for the win. This is probably the worst year for the Lions although they haven’t been showing stellar performance in the last few decades.
The performance that the Lions are showing makes their fans really frustrated and disappointed. Even if they have the most loyal fans, the question remains on how these people put up with the poor performance their team has been giving them year after year. Eventually, the kind of loyalty their fans are giving them will wane with how they lose one game after the another.
But there is another reason why Detroit is losing interest in the Lions and it is not because of the losing status of the team. It is also because of the depression that the economy is experiencing.
