For an above ground pool to be cleaned the right way, an above ground pool pump needs to be installed. Pumps as such are intended to push water in and out of the pool. The process to install the pump is not hard; it is easier than installing one for an underground pool; one person can take care of it. To install a pump, it takes about one hour and you are closer to swimming in your pool!

Measure the place where the pump will be on. This should be close to the skimmer. You will dig a hole, the size of the patio block your pump will sit on. In this hole you will place the patio block; place the pool pump on that.

The skimmer is the next thing you will be connecting. Locate the clamps and place them near the end of the hose. Do not tighten the clamps just yet, first you need to attach the end of the hose to the wall at the bottom of the skimmer; tighten the screws. Kids love water and water parks are the perfect place to have fun. Check the location. Before going to a water park, see if it has enough lifeguards. Know where they are stationed and if they can easily handle an emergency. Before going on a ride, read the signs to determine whether its safe for you or your child. Is your kid tall enough or old enough for the ride? How deep is the water?
